Last year, I became a clown, Sir Toony Van Dukes. I booked a room on the Clown Cruise so I could have a fun vacation and continue to grow as a clown. I have put together pictures from the cruise. They are organized on three pages. One page with the clown activities, one with all of the clowns in costume, and one of the shore excursions and ship activities.

Monday, the ship stopped in Ocho Rios, Jamaca. I toured the Dunn's River Falls and Mystic Mountain Chairlift. We walked up the 600 ft giant staircase of Dunn's River Falls. One of the guides held all of the cameras so I was able to get some good pictures of myself in the falls. After the falls, we went to Mystic Mountain. At the top of the mountain, there was an overlook of the port and a bobsled ride and zip line. Since I was on a budget, I passed on the bobsled and zip line.

Tuesday was a stop in Grand Cayman. I took a pirate encounter. We boarded the pirate ship and sailed around the cruise ships stopped in Grand Cayman. We fired our cannons a few times before finding a quiet place to go swimming. The ship's video team was on our pirate encounter and captured the fun on the cruise video. In the afternoon, I was supposed to go on a kayak/snorkeling tour but it was cancelled due to lack of participants. So, I did some shopping before heading back to the ship.

On Wednesday, we stopped in Cozumel Mexico. The captain said we had encountered a cold front that the forecast said should have moved on but had stalled over the area. I was on a trip to the Tulum Ruins in Mexico. We had to take a ferry to the main land. That was the roughest ride I had ever been on. I was sitting next to one of the clowns, Giggles, and her husband. When we left, she said she was glad that she had on a fresh sea sickness patch. Unfortunately, it wasn't enough for her or about a third of the people on the ferry. Another ten minutes and I might have lost it too.
The Tulum ruins were interesting, but considering the ferry ride and bus ride to get there, we spent more time getting there and back than we had to see the ruins. We were hoping the seas would have calmed by afternoon, but they were still rough. It wasn't quite as bad, but several people still got sick. Since we had a full day scheduled, we didn't have any clown sessions planned that afternoon.

Friday, we stopped at the Princess Cay. We had been told there would be a beach party, but nobody seemed to know the details. The wind was blowning and it was a cool day. I walked around a little and then stopped for lunch. After lunch, I walked a little more before deciding to head back to the ship. Before I got back, it started to rain. I wish we had nicer weather, because their Cay is really meant for fun in the sun.

Since I had a late flight, I booked an airboat ride in the Everglades for Saturday. It was the longest tour available. It was still cold and they said the aligators don't like the cold weather. The ride was very quick. I doubt it was more than 20 minutes. After the airboat ride, we went to the Flamingo Gardens. The day was over and we were at the airport before I knew it.
