St Baldrick's in South Riding 2008
In May, 2008, I attended a second
St. Baldrick's event.

In February, I read in the Corpus Christi bulletin that they were planning a Locks of Love
event for sometime in the spring. I contacted the event coordinator and told her about St.
Baldrick's. She liked the idea and the fact that it would allow the boys in the youth group
to get involved. She planned a joint charity event for Locks of Love and St. Baldricks on
Wednesday, May 7th, 2008. I went to support them for part of the event and took a lots of
pictures.
I was told that they had 21 people donate hair to Locks of Love and 17 people who had their
heads shaved. Great job for the first time event at Corpus Christi.
