Once again, I turned Halloween into a major production. I attended to Halloween costume parties, helped with the South Riding Halloween Spooktacular, decorated the front of my townhouse.

Professionals in the City held a Singles in the Suburbs ~ Reston Town Center Halloween Bar Crawl on Friday, October 27, 2006. I decided to attend the party and dressed as an "alien astronaut."
Mike dressed as an alien astronaut for the Halloween party. I was amazed how many people had to ask what I was supposed to be.

South Riding held its annual Halloween Spooktacular on Sunday, October 29th, 2006. The event was scheduled for Saturday but moved to Sunday due to weather. I had volunteered myself and Supakorn to help out by wearing two inflatable costumes.

A few weeks before Halloween, I pulled out the Halloween decorations and started to decorate the front steps. The weekend before Halloween, Supakorn helped me put the finishing touches on a few of the decorations. We moved the last few pieces to the driveway in the afternoon on Halloween.
Mike dressed as a skeleton pirate for Halloween. The costume matched the decorations on the driveway better than the alien astronaut costume.

My driveway after sunset
A few of the decorations on my driveway after sunset. I made the jail cell out of dowel rods and put a child's pirate costume on a skeleton. The other characters were made out of PVC pipes.
