It is cold and snowing today. It is hard to believe that on Monday we had temperatures in the 60s. It slowly got colder each day this week. Today, it is in the teens and we already have an inch of snow on the ground. The forecast calls for four to six inches of snow before it ends tonight.
Our cold spell has finally been broken. We had temperatures slowly warm up this week with temperatures yesterday and today getting above 50. Yet, we still have piles of snow on the ground from the big blizzard we had on December 19th.

I have two cars, my 2004 Chevy Trailblazer and my 2008 smart fortwo. Both serve a purpose… The smart fortwo, with its fuel economy, is great for getting from place to place. The Trailblazer with its trunk and room for five is great for shopping and trips. It is also better equipped to deal with snow and ice.
I used to have this crazy idea that if I had two cars, I would never have to worry about being without a car if one broke down. Unfortunately, that is not really the case. I had to bring both cars to be repaired lately.

I like the summer. I would rather have a year with the temperature in the mid 80s than deal with three or four months of freezing temperatures. I have a lot of friends who say they like the cool spring and fall days because they are nice for being outside. Not for me, I want it to feel like a good day to head to the beach. And others who like the cold winter, and snow.

OK, I just thought that sounded good. It is really my top 5 items that I feel I need to accomplish in 2010. Really, there are many more, but I need to start somewhere. I am not one to make New Year Resolutions. So here they are:
- Start making money
- Clean the house
- Get Organized
- Learn how to juggle clubs
- Learn how to walk on stilts
